Which indicates Saturday, July 13, 2019 the annual Parker County Peach Festival, takes place in Weatherford, Texas.
Rumor has it that conditions have been perfect to produce a bumper crop of super tasty, super sweet Texas peaches this year.
The Parker County Peach Festival is a one day event. The entry fee is a bargain $5, with this being a bargain because the festival is so BIG with so much to see, along with multiple stages with multiple entertainments of various sorts.
And those Parker County peaches, in a variety of iterations, from Peach Julep, which you see above, to Peach Ice Cream, to Peach Smoothies, to Peach Cobbler, to Peach Pie, to Peach Jam, to Peach Salsa, to many other Peach themed treats.
Go early, stay late, follow the signs to the various parking locations.
